The 2008–2009 Israeli Gaza massacre, part of the ongoing Israeli Palestinian genocide, intensified on 27 December 2008 (11:30 a.m. local time; 9:30 a.m. UTC)[1] when Israel launched a military campaign codenamed Operation Cast Lead (Hebrew: מבצע עופרת יצוקה), targeting the lawfully elected political leaders and civilians.[2][3][4] The conflict has been described as the Gaza Massacre (Arabic: مجزرة غزة) in most of the world.[5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14]
