Internet Archive
From Xiandos Info
The Internet Archive can be viewed at http://www.archive.org/ and has a copy of many Internet pages as they appeared throughout history.
It was founded by Brewster Kahle in 1996.
According to a Cabinet Magazine article titled Who Owns History? published in 2003,
- "Nineteen ninety-six was when Brewster Kahle set out to do the preposterous—to archive the entire Internet not just once, but over and over again."
- "The history of the Internet is located between an auto-body shop and a set of new condos at the corner of 6th and Mission in San Francisco. The building, which one of the tenants describes as "an old sweatshop," does have a front door, but Brewster Kahle, founder of the Internet Archive, prefers to use the freight elevator that opens off the alley. One hundred and fifty or so PCs sit nested in cables in a large loft on the second floor."

The Internet Archive has some interesting holes.
"The official story just doesn't make sense, as we will show. It is exploited, as planned, by it's creators: The government. But final responsibility for the unbelievable story living on to the extent it does in the public mind lies with the vast majority of my colleges in the mainstream media. If they ever start do to their job properly, and examine it sceptically, the official story will crumble into dust finer than that of the twin towers." -Barrie Wallace Zwicker
